According to China's National Medical Products Administration, with the implementation of Conditions of Cosmetic Ingredients for Use (2021) from May 1, 2021, the use of cosmetic ingredients related to cannabis sativa, seed oil, fruit, leaf, and etc. will be temporarily banned.
Earlier this year in January, the implementation of Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations have also announced stricter management of new cosmetics and ingredients.
